Policy of the Certifying Board of Professional Ergonomists (CBEST) – Ergonomics Society of Thailand (EST)

(Policy of Certifying Board of Professional Ergonomists – Ergonomics Society of Thailand)

The Board certifies ergonomists in Thailand to international standards in accordance with the following policies:

  1. Maintain impartiality and operate independently of any institution or organisation.
  2. Operate with at least five Board members certified by the International Ergonomics Association (IEA).
  3. Operate in alignment with the Ergonomics Society of Thailand (EST) and the International Ergonomics Association (IEA).
  4. Secure financial resources through training programmes and other activities as deemed appropriate by the Board, ensuring sufficient revenue to support operations.
  5. Recruit competent personnel to serve as instructors for training programmes for those seeking certification.
